This is a polar histogram of slices of images posted to Twitter in London in 2012. Slices are sorted by time of week on the angular axis, creating 7 peaks, and by brightness on the radial axis. Polar histograms are made more compact by the inverted design, with the base of each bin on the outer perimeter.
