Perceptual Image Analysis
This is a conference poster, displayed here for two reasons. First, it is visualization work. Second, it is a kind of "meta-view" of what I'm doing here — viz., direct visualization. The poster describes a problem for direct visualization — the selection of feature spaces — and proposes a solution to solve it. Our team has not yet implemented this solution; the project is in-progress. Additionally, it's worth noting that the feature-generation aspect of the proposal is separable from the software tool itself. A fully interactive software tool for exploring direct visualizations is badly needed for researchers of all kinds using image data. No existing tool takes this far enough.
